The 2015 Lincolnshire Horse Trials took place at the Lincolnshire Showground on 20th–22nd March and despite poor weather forecasts, the event was blessed with wonderful sunshine.
The event as a whole was a huge success, having first class riders, a wonderful atmosphere and even a partial eclipse thrown in for good measure.

The Trials also proved a great event for local rider, Alex Postolowsky. On the Friday she had several reasonable placings, but on the Saturday took first place in the Charles Warner (Mitsubishi) Novice Section H (inc Lincolnshire Riders) on Akolien, with Polly Chiverton taking second on Skeheens and Andrew James taking third on Cavaliers Showdown. Alex then went on to take second place in the Open Novice Section J on Diddiman. Robert Wilson took first on Diamond Swap and Lincolnshire rider Rosalind Canter took third on Shadowstone.

Alex almost got first place on Sunday in the Intermediate Novice Section T on Baroque Du VI but was beaten into second by Britta Esser on Escorial 146. Britta won by just 0.3 of a point, having obtained a very good Dressage score that managed to save her despite four penalty points in the Showjumping.

Kitty King was on good form on the Sunday, winning first the Open Intermediate Section Q on Ceylor LAN, with Mark Kyle coming second on Jemilla and Dee Hankey coming third on Chequers Playboy; then winning the next section, Open Intermediate R on Persimmon with Andrew Hoy coming second on Rutherglen and Laura Collett coming third on Grand Manoeuvre.
