BoatFest19 – and another successful year!

Theannual Burton Waters Boating Festival took place on Saturday 15th June and thankfully visitors managed to get away with just a couple of short, light rain showers, despite the recent wet weather!

The crowds didn’t disappoint, with over 500 visitors coming through the gate. With over 30 boats on display, lots of stalls to browse, a charity raffle, children’s area, tasty food and drink and live music, there was lots to do for everyone. As a result of the generosity of visitors, suppliers, stallholders and local businesses, the festival raised over £1,000 for this year’s nominated charities, Macmillan and the RNLI. The organisers wish to thank everyone who attended, for making it such a success.
