Special Summer Celebration!
More than 70 women attended Business Women’s Link’s (BWL) Summer Lunch at Hemswell Court, where they celebrated the network’s “comeback” with its first face-to-face meeting since the pandemic.
From the outset, there was a fantastic atmosphere as the ladies, who had taken a well-earned break from work, sipped prosecco and engaged in lively conversations with old friends and enjoyed being introduced to new contacts. The party then moved through to the Hemswell Cliff venue’s Primrose Room where, after a fun game of ‘Heads & Tails’, guests tucked into a delicious three-course lunch.
Guest speaker, Lincoln author Lydia Sanders – the brains behind the Hysterical Herstories series of books – then talked about the inspiration behind her stories and answered a variety of questions.
The event finished on a high note, with news that the bumper raffle had raised more than £450 for Bransby Horses – BWL’s chosen charity for 2022.
