Enjoy a weekend of international eventing as leading riders take on this prestigious early season cross-country challenge.

The Eventing Spring Carnival at Thoresby Park, which takes place on 31st March – 2nd April, promises a packed weekend of top competition alongside entertainment for all the family.

Located in this spectacular parkland setting, there is something for everyone, including classic car displays, dog show plus agility, axe throwing, archery and funfair.

Britain’s first international fixture of the eventing season also pays tribute to Ros Canter’s former eventing world champion Allstar B by naming a new hospitality enclosure in his honour.

With an entry list featuring Olympic medallists and five-star winners, alongside up and coming talent, its early season position makes it an ideal preparatory run for the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials CCI5* a month later.

For the second year, Captain Mark Phillips will assist in designing the cross-country course alongside BEDE Events’ Stuart Buntine, ensuring that competitors benefit from a wealth of experience for this pivotal early run.

Hospitality and more
The new Allstar B enclosure is the place to be for this year’s event, with complimentary breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea available in a prime viewing spot overlooking the main arena and the cross-country course.

Throughout the competition, top riders and eventing professionals, including European champion Nicola Wilson, leading coach Caroline Moore and former world champion Ros Canter, will visit the enclosure to lead educational and entertaining talks.

Livestreaming will also be available throughout the competition, allowing members to sit and enjoy the event in comfort.

Eventing enthusiasts are invited to meet their heroes in the Equitex Rider Zone, which will host a number of meet-and-greets with riders and brand ambassadors within the expansive trade and food village.

There is also a classic car meet held across the weekend with more than 500 rare and restored automobiles expected in attendance.
