County based producers are at the heart of the food sector locally and we have three features which give a glimpse into the passion and hard work which goes into these businesses. The Lincolnshire Pork Co. is owned by the Ward family and based at Uncle Henry’s, Grayingham. Their home reared, award winning pork products are sold through Lincolnshire Co-op stores and in their Farm Shop. Read more on page 10.
Grain of Truth Bakery is celebrating its first anniversary this year but they have already established a strong following for their slow fermented sourdough and baked sweet treats. Their vans deliver to wholesale clients and also visit farmers’ markets across the county. With more venues coming on their routes, it might not be long before you find them visiting your town or village. Meanwhile weekend customers can visit the bakery when they open on Saturday and Sunday mornings for retail customers. Details are on page 6.
ife’s fine indulgences and Glorious Chocolate, based near Grantham, has developed a range of chocolate barks with distinctive natural flavours such as orange and raspberry. Read more on page 32.
