Taste of Excellence 2020

Update on Lincolnshire Life’s Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards.

When we welcomed so many of you to the awards evening last November it was unimaginable that the industry would be facing the dreadful challenges of Covid-19 less than six months later.

In this, the 23rd year of the competition, we hope that by November 2020 we will be welcoming you to celebrate your company and loyal staff conquering these conditions.

Lincolnshire Life and Good Taste Lincolnshire have a long history of reporting on and promoting the wonderful producers, eateries and hostelries based in the county. Many, like ourselves, are small family businesses and we have always valued the friendships and partnerships we have built over time to showcase the bounty and hospitality of Lincolnshire.

We already know that many businesses are responding to government advised restrictions by launching innovative products and services such as home deliveries, revised opening times and subscription services.

With this in mind we would like to know more so that we can include your listings, free of charge, in our printed publications, on social media and websites. Our readers are looking for these services to support them through the coming weeks.

We are already planning for the ‘Taste of Excellence 2020’ Awards Night in November and it is sure to be a party to remember. The official competition launch will be delayed until June but will reflect the unprecedented year this will have been, recognising the inspiration, resilience and leadership shown in the food, drink and hospitality sectors.

THANK YOU AGAIN TO OUR FANTASTIC SPONSORS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF TASTE OF EXCELLENCE.
