Belvoir Vale Cottage, Stenwith, Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir

Belvoir Vale Cottage is on the edge of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir, officially an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and more than 100 yards from the nearest house.
Any closer neighbours have either four legs or feathers! Stenwith is a collection of five dwellings and the stump of a disused windmill between the Grantham to Nottingham canal and the tiny River Devon. Belvoir Vale Cottage is full of character and expresses Suzie’s and Norman’s eclectic taste in colour, form and life.

Share a little of England at its best with super views, a fairy-tale castle, excellent accommodation, hearty breakfasts and good company. We have a 4 Star Rating and a Silver Award for outstanding quality. The use of good, local ingredients well cooked and presented has won us a Visit England Breakfast Award and Trip Advisor has awarded us the coveted Certificate of Excellence in 2011 and 2012.

A word about the local dialect: Belvoir is Beever, River Devon is River Deevun, and Stenwith is called The Stennits. So now you can stay local, eat local and even talk local – we look forward to meeting you.

Conveniently located with easy access to the A1 and A52, within sight of Belvoir Castle. There are wonderful places to visit and the area has award-winning pubs and restaurants. This makes us an ideal, secluded and very quiet place to relax, unwind and if necessary work.
