Report on Novice Cold Game Working Test at Caythorpe 2019
Everyone came prepared for storms and we were not disappointed although a stiff breeze kept the showers at bay for most of the time.
We thank Mr R Ward for allowing us to hold the test in a huge field of sugar beet. Thanks, also, to our judges, Craig Horwill and Hayley Drew. Martin Eveleigh was our Chief Steward.
The first round was two pigeons in front. The second crossing round was a pigeon more or less along the line. Eleven dogs went through to a round of a blind in front and a rabbit behind. Finally, four dogs went for a very long mark, diagonally across rows of sugar beet.
