Ganbei became the leading horse at North Carlton for 2014 after landing the Gleadell Agriculture Men’s Open race on a day when sixty-nine runners contested eight races on ‘good to firm’ ground. The Bannister family were left celebrating after Ganbei supplemented his win at the Burton meeting three weeks ago to lift the Vulgarion Perpetual Challenge Trophy.
