Stars shine at Cranwell

Brian May and Kerry Ellis were the stars of the show at the Anthems in the Park concert at RAF Cranwell. West End stage star Ellis, who has been touring with May on their Anthems tour, brought the stage to life with hits from West End musical ‘Wicked’ and a few famous Queen songs. The evening started with flypasts by a Hurricane and Spitfire and a flying display by the world famous aerobatic team, The Blades. Also appearing on the night was the band of the Royal Air Force College Cranwell, under the baton of Flight Lieutenant Matt Little, director of music, and Salon Orchestra of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force. The evening was in aid of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
