Texture clash
We have always been told to avoid clashing patterns and textures but this season that rule has gone out the window and it has become the ‘it’ look for autumn and winter.
The extent to which the catwalk are taking this new style is far from our everyday take on it. To achieve this style at home many designers are adding a faux fur gilet or scarf to an everyday look, to give that kind of texture clash seen on the catwalks. Try it in whatever way you want, adapt it to make it individual for you – perhaps combine suede and snakeskin like on the unique shoes pictured here.
