A graduate of Reading University, Peter Clery’s career has been in farming, agricultural banking and institutional land ownership. He set up the NatWest Agricultural Office and moved on to become managing director of Lands Improvement plc, a major owner of rural land. Agricultural history is now his main interest. Book includes colour illustrations.
