It is wonderful that spring has finally arrived and this heralds the summer season too, with all the excitement of upcoming short breaks and holidays in the planning.

Whether you are a resident of Lincolnshire or a visitor to this glorious county, we always want to offer you some hidden gems to explore and new eateries and hospitality venues waiting to welcome you.

Our features in this spring edition begin with Mayfield Vineyard, located close to Sleaford. This business combines self catering holiday lets, with wines made from grapes grown in their wild vineyard, to tasting and pizza evenings, ideal for groups of friends or families looking to mark a special occasion or spend quality time together. You can read more on page 6.

Lincolnshire Life Magazine, producers of Good Taste Lincolnshire, have held a food, drink and hospitality awards competition in the county for nearly 30 years. Taste of Excellence 2025 will launch in May and we need your nominations for this year’s awards in 14 categories. You can find details on page 28 and keep an eye on our social media for more updates.

Finally we have recipes by county based chef Rachel Green, capturing some of these fabulous flavours of spring. Rachel was recently named Champion of Champions at the Eat Game Awards 2025 for her work promoting game meat through her recipes and cooking demonstrations.
