A very fine, substantial, stone property dating back to the early 1820s, stands in the middle of the pretty village of Dunston, about 7 miles southeast of the historic city of Lincoln. Rooms are spacious and light-filled, with 4 generous bedrooms upstairs and 4 reception rooms downstairs as well as a separate annexe connected to the double garage.

The large, wraparound garden is beautifully landscaped with a backdrop of the village church, and easily accessed through French doors from both the house and the annexe. With over 3,000 square feet of accommodation, this property, in a village setting yet close to Lincoln, would suit a family or anyone wanting to work from home or entertain on a big scale.

The historic, pretty little village of Dunston is about 7 miles southeast of Lincoln, with the settlement ‘Dunestune’ recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086. Modern day archaeological digs have uncovered finds related to Dunston Manor. The property stands close to the Church of St Peter dating to the 12th century; several listed buildings are in Dunston including the 18th century Blue House, and Church Farmhouse on Lincoln Road. Perhaps surprisingly, although probably thankfully for any owner, Dunston Manor is not listed but is in the conservation area of the village.
